How To Get To Campus

As you know, students are responsible for making arrangements to get themselves to Weinstein Hall for check-in.  Washington Square is located near 5th Avenue, one block below 8th street.

Prior to the check-in date, please note the residence hall cannot accept any types of packages or luggage for students. Items for students will only be accepted by the residence hall after July 10th, when the students have officially checked into the residence hall.

Here are a few ways you can get to campus. You can find more details on the NYU MAP and you can call the NYU Information Center, 212-998-INFO (212-998-4636). The information below can also be found on this link: http://www.nyu.edu/about/visitor-information/getting-to-nyu.html

From La Guardia, Kennedy, or Newark Airport, take the airport shuttle bus to Port Authority Bus Terminal or Grand Central Station. From Port Authority, take the A or E subway downtown to West Fourth Street-Washington Square Station, or from Grand Central, take the Lexington Avenue subway (No. 6 train) downtown to Astor Place Station. Cabs and car services are available at the airport and, even though they cost more, they are your best bet if you have a lot of luggage. Plan on spending at least $25 to $40 depending on the airport and time of day.
